I had the opportunity to visit the JSS Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital. They focused on holistic care integrating science and nature. During the tour, we visited the central analytical laboratory that housed different apparatus such as the tablet dissolution test apparatus and simple distillation and solutions. They use mortar & pestles to grind the nuts and plants into a paste. Just outside of the college and hospital, they have their own garden that has various species of trees they use to create medicine. I found it interesting how they are bridging the gap between science and natural medicine. It's not a one size fits all approach.
